The fine print, unwound

Terms of
Service.

Last updated September 2026

The deal in plain English. No 14-page proposal, no clauses designed to confuse you — just how we work, what you own, and one honest rule about showing off.

01This is also our service agreement

There's no separate contract to chase down. When you pick your services on the pricing page, tick the agreement box, and check out, these terms become the agreement between Click Click Co. and you for exactly the work you selected and the total shown at checkout.

Ticking that box is a legal electronic signature in the United States under the E-SIGN Act — the same as ink on paper. Your receipt and our records show what you picked, the total, the 8.25% sales tax, and the date.

02What's due when

Website builds split in half: half is due at checkout to book the work, and the balance is due when your site goes live. Hourly work — branding, updates, assets, consulting — is paid for the hours you select at checkout.

Work beyond the hours you bought is billed at $85/hour in 15-minute increments plus sales tax, and we always tell you before we bill it. No minimum hours, no monthly retainers, no surprise line items.

Sales tax of 8.25% is added to everything taxable and shown as its own line before you pay.

03What we do

Click Click Co. designs and builds websites, does makeovers of existing sites, and creates or refreshes branding, logos, content, and social media assets. We also give straight, paid-by-the-hour consulting when you want an honest answer instead of a pitch.

Every project starts with a written quote before any work begins. The price in the quote is the price you pay — no surprise line items wearing a disguise.

04Quotes & payment

Flat project fees for builds and makeovers, and a simple hourly rate for updates and asset work. Unless your quote says otherwise, half is due to book the work and the balance when your site goes live.

If an invoice sits unpaid, work pauses — but we will never hold your finished files hostage to collect. See "No hard feelings" below.

05Revisions

Two rounds of revisions are included in every build. After that, changes are billed at our hourly rate. Batch your notes into one list — it's faster and cheaper for you, and we'll work like mad to get through it.

06Who owns what

You own your business name, your content, and everything you hand us. Once you've paid in full, you own the finished work outright — files, code, images, the lot.

We don't do licensing games, "rent your own website" schemes, or fine print that lets us keep pieces of what you paid for.

07Our right to show off (a little)

Unless you specifically ask us not to, Click Click Co. may feature the work we made for you — screenshots, logos, design pieces, excerpts — in our portfolio, social channels, and marketing.

If you'd rather we didn't, just say so — before, during, or after the project. One email and we remove it, no questions and no hard feelings.

08Hosting, your domain & third parties

Hosting is passed through at cost ($150/year), and your domain name is the same deal — you buy and renew it directly from a registrar (usually $10–$20/year). We don't keep a penny of either, we don't mark either up, and the invoice shows the real numbers.

Your domain and your hosting are always registered in your name — never ours. Whoever owns those owns the front door to your business, and that should be you. If we ever part ways, you take everything with you.

Third-party services (hosting providers, domain registrars, email tools) come with their own terms. If one of them has an outage, we'll help you sort it out, but we can't answer for their uptime.

09No hard feelings

You can stop working with us at any time. You keep everything you've paid for, we part as friends, and nobody sends a passive-aggressive exit email.

Same on our side: if we're not the right fit for what you need, we'll tell you honestly and point you somewhere better if we can.

10Honest limits

We're really, really good at this — but we can't guarantee search rankings, sales figures, or how the internet behaves on any given day. Anyone who guarantees those is selling you something.

Our total liability for any claim related to a project is capped at what you paid us for that project.

11Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, the new version applies to work that starts after the update. Your quote always spells out the terms for that specific project, and the quote wins if there's ever a conflict.
